Now picture a great brand as being a Corvette,
(yes, it was a duck in our
branding section, now it's a car,
but stick with us…this gets good)

and the smooth paved road the corvette
drives on — that's marketing.

Marketing is foundational. It's predictable. You can map it out and plan where you need to go and whom you need to visit (hopefully your target market). Your road map = your marketing plan.

Without your road map, it can get dangerous. You have a good chance of getting lost, way off track, or you might just drive that bright, shiny Corvette off a cliff. And that would be sad.

You could have a great marketing plan and know exactly the route you need to take, but if you're driving an old, tired jalopy of a brand — who's going to notice you? You won't be turning any heads.

On the other hand, you can have a great brand like a Corvette, but if you don't have a marketing plan, no road map to point to a specific destination, then essentially you're going nowhere and wasting a lot of gas in the meantime. This is not a good thing. Gas is expensive.

So you can begin to see how branding and marketing work together, right?

In both cases, you're in the driver's seat. Whether you need a corvette, a road map or both — we can help steer you in the right direction.
