2007 Success Tips

What do successful people know that the rest of the world doesn’t know?  According to a recent study by Kathy Baker, there are several key items that make a big difference:

1. Success is an inside job: You must choose to make the changes and shifts on the “inside” before you can make real changes and achieve the success you deserve. Our minds are like a big filing cabinet – you need to insert new positive files to empower yourself to get what you want.
2. Set goals and take action:  Without a plan, you won’t get started.  Without action, you won’t have results. Aim for progress, not perfection.
3. Make smart choices:  Successful people make choices that support achieving the life of their dreams. They do the hard work of making choices that help them achieve results, even though those results may not show up immediately. They’re willing to put in the time and effort for their success.
4. Keep learning new things:  Successful people never stop learning. They never say, “I already know all about that.” They equip themselves with new learning, new technology and new ways of doing things.
5. Participate in mastermind groups: Successful people act as a force field holding together the energy for growth and progress. When you associate with other success-minded people you will be more successful yourself. No one can get to their full potential without “community.”
